What is your return policy?

Every Montravé piece comes with a 100-day trial. Take it on a real trip. If it doesn't move you, send it back for a full refund — no questions, no restocking fees. The case can show signs of use; we expect that.

How long does shipping take?

All US orders ship free via expedited carrier and arrive in 3–5 business days. Orders placed before 2pm MST ship the same day. You'll receive tracking the moment it leaves our warehouse in Boulder, Colorado.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the US, Canada, UK, and EU. International orders typically arrive in 7–12 business days. Duties and taxes are calculated and pre-paid at checkout, so there are no surprises at your door.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

Shell, wheels, handle, zippers, and lock — for life. If a component fails under normal travel use, we repair or replace it at no cost. Cosmetic wear like scratches and leather patina are not defects; they are the record of where you've been.

How does the case size up for carry-on?

Our Carry-On measures 22" × 14" × 9" (56 × 36 × 23 cm) — within international cabin dimensions for all major airlines including JFK, LHR, HND, and CDG. It weighs 9.4 lbs empty, giving you back most of your allowance for things that matter.

What material is the shell made of?

Virgin Makrolon® polycarbonate — the same aerospace-grade material used in bulletproof enclosures. It absorbs impact without cracking and resists scratching far better than aluminum or ABS. The Leather Carry-On adds a hand-burnished full-grain cowhide exterior over the same structural core.

Do you offer repairs?

Yes. Send us the case and we'll repair or replace any covered component. Leather pieces receive complimentary refinishing at year ten — send it in and we'll rub it back to life. Include a short note describing the issue; we handle the rest.

How do I clean and care for my luggage?

For polycarbonate shells: wipe with a damp cloth. For leather: use the balm we include — a neatsfoot-and-beeswax blend — twice a year. Never use water, alcohol, or petroleum-based cleaners on leather. Store loosely, not packed tight, between trips.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking. You can also track directly in your account on this site. Questions mid-transit? Email support@montrave.com with your order number.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay for installment payments. Checkout is fully encrypted and PCI-compliant.
